Preparing Education Brief to assist redevelopment of Arrowtown School
Arrowtown School, facing increasing roll pressure, is currently undergoing a property redevelopment process to increase its built capacity by 30%.
D & G was contracted to work with the school to develop an Education Brief that captured the school’s vision for teaching and learning, and addressed what physical spaces would be required to carry out that vision. We also outlined in the brief information about the school’s connections with its community, and its aspirations for the new configuration of its site.
D & G delivered this brief ahead of schedule. Additionally, the architects of the redevelopment used the brief to inform the their design and construction process.
